Bihar government will no longer conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the reinstatement of teachers in government elementary schools in the state. Since the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted regularly by the Government of India, it has been decided not to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) at present by the Education Department. The Director of Primary Education, Ravi Prakash has informed the Bihar School Examination Committee about this decision of the Education Department.
Bihar TET is Not Conduct Now
Now the board will take a final decision on this and inform it to the Patna High Court. It is worth noting that the teacher eligibility test in Bihar is conducted by the Bihar School Examination Committee. The Primary Director, through a letter sent to the Secretary of the Bihar Board, has informed about the decision not to take TET in the meeting chaired by the then Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar.
He said that in the meeting held on April 26, 2022, it has been decided that under the provisions made in the Bihar Panchayat Preliminary School Service (Appointment, Promotion, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Conditions Rules-2020) in the prescribed qualifications for the appointment of teachers, the Center or This includes passing the Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Government of Bihar.
